The act of imagining brings something new into existence, but paradoxically it is also said, that the human mind cannot possibly imagine, that which does not already exist somewhere.
My art seeks out these images from long forgotten memories.
Those enmeshed in my soul inherited from our long gone ancestors, those buried in the delights of my childhood, and those from this life, filled with the blessings and richness of living.
Memories are threaded through our rich tapestry of life: in history, story, legend and myth.
